Whats your deal?

After participating in 9thmoon 's poll asking if others fold their undies & hung their shirts in a specific way, I want to know what kind of things you guys do that might be considered "OCD"? Myself I have a habit of requiring my paper money be all facing the same way in order from $1's (the innermost denomination) to, $5, $10, $20 and so forth. Plus I try to have them perfectly folded in half.

There's a few more things I have to have "perfect" but I want you to share yours!

Oh and on a side note. I think I have a job. Called this guy about working for him doing roofing tear off & he called back today asking if I wanted to work Thursday. But I also have to call him back tonight to discuss further. Yay! It's been 9 fucking months since I had a real job. Unemployment had run out in May and the side jobs were not making ends meet at all! If I'm doing this for the rest of the summer I'll be one dark ass mofo.

I "face" my money, too. Drives me *crazy* when someone hands me back change and it's all wonky - I have to fix it right now. But then, I worked at a bank for many years.

I also "face" my food and toiletries in cabinets and on shelves... I worked in retail, too.

AND! Congrats on getting a job! :D

Thanks! I don't know why my money has to be perfect but I've done it ever since I was a kid. That's another thing... toilet paper has to be facing to roll from the front, not the back. I'll sometimes fix it in a public restroom if it's facing the wrong way.

I do the money thing as well, big bills stay in the middle and go out to the smaller bills. I hate when a cashier gives me money in the wrong direction.

I also chew even bites and favorite foods on the left side and odd bites and foods I'm meh about on the right side.

I count steps and try to step on odd numbers with right foot, even numbers with the left.

I like things to be even, even number of cookies, even number of candies, even the dial for volume has to be an even number if it's numbered.

I'm with you on the even numbers thing. Mostly with digital volume levels, I also count steps usually. Though I don't have a preference as to which foot falls where.

Talking to Andi last night and she said something about breaking her necks on the steps to turn a light on so Wood could see when he got there and I told her how many steps there were. The step counting is a newer thing though. I've had the eating thing for as long as I can remember. Money thing started really while waitressing. At least, that's when I really noticed it.
