Hehhee was commenting how Thomas is the exact opposite of me when it comes to his internet privacy. Seems the Boomer lad is perfectly fine with disclosing his name and address, but photos of his mug are a no-go. Meanwhile I'm the exact opposite, I blog under a pseudonym, and while I admit my home town I don't talk about my street address.
I asked him this and god this explanation:
"I had people do odd things in photoshop more than once in the past I don't intend to allow again. Once your face is on the net, all bets are off.
I'll tell ya where the razor wire perimeter is and what my name is, even meet people to go shooting, I don't provide toys for people with photoshop and too much free time."
He then posted this:

I won't lie I turned some heads on the train laughing out loud when I saw that!
hhehehehe
Thanks for the laugh! I especially like the cottage-cheese in my nose, and the inverted Cross...which as far as I can tell is a Symbol invented by Christians for the expressed purpose of scaring other Christians.
With Friends like these, Who Needs Enemas???
Hahhahahahahah
I love you guys!

Introduction
When I first read this as a young man, I thought it was one of the most incredibly, and pointlessly, depressing science fiction stories ever written. I still mostly agree with that analysis, but now I better appreciate its complexity, and its temporal context.
( SPOILERS for 'We Who Are About To', )
Conclusion
This was an interesting book to read, though I found almost everyone in the story completely unlikeable. Books like this should be sometimes written, so that we don't take for granted the Good Guys Always Winning, but I didn't like it, and I don't think it could ever have been very popular. It's moderately well-written, but nothing to compare with the work of the real greats of the genre. I can see why one would want to read it once or twice, but hardly often.

I'm thinking of starting a support group for people who love people with iPhones. Good idea, y/n?
My main complaint is the lack of intelligible texting due to the so-called auto-correct feature on the iPhone, but I imagine other people would have issues with distraction, as well, and maybe fear for their loved ones' safety, because iPhone users tend to walk smack into stuff that's right in front of them.

For the JMB faction.

I was right, my phone was somehow left on the train (likely fell from my pocket). I got to North Station this morning and it was at the lost-and-found center. It's charging right now (because I noticed I didn't have it when I went to plug it in last night!).
Glad that worked out OK. I need to be more careful in the future. This is the second major disappearance my HTC Tilt has done....both have been because of poorly secured pockets.

"including SIG Sauer P229 pistols fit with huge .357 cartridges"
If .357 Sig is a"huge" cartridge, imagine what they'd think of the .500S&W. At least they called it a cartridge and not just a bullet, going for the trade-off maybe?

Just finished all the paths the video I posted here:
http://weerdbeard.livejournal.com/60720 9.html
First up let's look at this one:
I decided to be a good little subject and leave my house unarmed. While walking someplace I encounter a hoodlum looking to ditch a knife. Looks to me like he's done something violent, and he's armed. Your options are to take the knife (and if you don't ditch it you get dumped to the same video where you get randomly stopped and searched by the cops...Is that legal in the UK? **Update** somebody from the UK just told me it IS legal)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TK2qcvb7 SKo
But if you choose the "Right Thing" (note that you only get to this point IF you choose all the "good" things...not taking the knife, and not traveling with the rabble-rousers) and don't take the knife you end up shoving a knife wielding thug away...and get rewarded.
Ummm, why are they having this campaign if the knife wielding thugs don't stab unarmed people?
Yeah. This is why I carry a gun.
Oh and for a closer, doesn't this give you the warm fuzzies. If you're a good little subject and don't take the knife, but go to check out an argument you get this video:
So congratulations, the people who want "Reasonable Laws" simply want you to live in a Police state!
Honestly Orwell would be a shitty writer if he wasn't so dead-balls on in his political observations.
Don't let it happen here!
